Description

Cultivation activities such as watering, pruning, cloning, transplanting, cleaning and waste disposal of medicinal product. Solid organization and a good work ethic is a must. This is a manual labor position operating within a warehouse.

RESPONSIBILITIES and Duties:
Manage a technologically advanced hydroponic system, including sowing and transplanting, fertigation, greenhouse environment management, mechanization, sanitation, and general site management.
Manage integrated pest management, including preventative measures, monitoring, and treatment using organically-approved products and beneficial insects.
Implement policies and procedures relating to technical, high-output growing operations.
Establish and maintain the required customer and regulatory certification.
Authoritatively provide technical growing expertise, advice, and direction to team members at all times.
Maintain cultivation schedules; following policies and procedures; complete daily tasks as directed.
Cloning / Feeding / Defoliating / Flushing and other cultivation practices of medicinal product.
Maintain daily records and paperwork in an accessible, organized and compliant fashion.
Performing opening and closing tasks; facility maintenance; keeping a clean and sanitary work environment and troubleshooting as necessary.
Accounting for daily inventory levels; maintaining as directed; utilizing multiple POS systems.
Contributing and working collaboratively with the facility team to ensure the overall success of the organization.

Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:
Minimum 3 years’ indoor cultivation experience.
Mastery of all grow mediums (soil, inert (rockwool, hydroton, etc)) and irrigation methods (hand-water, sub-irrigation, drip systems).
Knowledge of large scale commercial plan cultivation including crop rotation management, nutrient requirements, mediums, light requirements, and environmental controls.
Knowledge of plant diseases, pests, and nutrient deficiencies and toxicity.
Physical aptitude and health necessary to perform manual labor tasks required for the proper management of grow warehouse.
Advanced knowledge of the cannabis plant and genetics.
Must have accountability, proactive behavior and strong attention to detail.
